Board, Board Committees and Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is a committee established by the Group Chief Executive Officer, from which it derives its authority. The Executive Committee comprises the Executive Directors and a number of senior executives.

The PLC Board delegates responsibility for formulating and implementing the Group's strategic plan and for management of the day-to-day operation of the Group to the Group Chief Executive Officer. The primary function of the Committee is to support the Group Chief Executive Officer in carrying out this role and in the management of the day-to-day operation of the Group's businesses.
